A fire destroyed a truck's cabin this Tuesday morning while traveling on the AP-7 highway through Cambrils, causing traffic delays in the direction of Barcelona.

The Bombers de la Generalitat received the alert at 06:24 AM. The fire started in the tractor unit of the heavy vehicle, which was carrying boxes of clothes, but did not affect the cargo or the nearby forest area.
Five fire crews were deployed to the scene and successfully controlled and extinguished the flames. No personal injuries were reported during the incident.
Due to the firefighting efforts and the removal of the vehicle, one lane of the AP-7 towards the Catalan capital was closed, resulting in approximately one kilometer of traffic congestion.
