The program boasts 41 activities, including courses and children's and family shows, marking the center's fourteenth season. This venue has become a hub for meeting, learning, and participation for thousands of people.
The Mini Cívic program will continue, featuring events such as storytelling organized by the Diables, the Drac, and the Bou Tradicional (UAF), alongside the traditional Castanyada show and a new edition of the Tió de Nadal by the company Cinc Cèntims.
The Fàbrica de les Il·lusions (Factory of Illusions) will be set up at the Biblioteca Popular (Popular Library) from December 28th to 30th and January 2nd to 4th, with a renewed format to enhance the Christmas magic. Workshops on infant massage and movement for three and four-year-olds, led by professionals from Ca Pinyes, are also offered.
A new registration system has been implemented to improve efficiency. Online pre-registration will be open from August 31st to September 6th, with in-person registration available until September 4th. A draw for places, if necessary, will be held on September 7th, followed by registration and payment finalization from September 8th to 15th. Activities will commence on September 21st.
The full program will be released next week, on Monday, August 3rd. Some children's activities and shows will be free, while paid activities will offer discounts, particularly for individuals at risk of social and economic exclusion.
The Department of Civic Action and Youth has positively assessed the thirteenth edition of Estiu Actiu (Active Summer), which recorded over 1,400 attendances, encouraging the continuation of initiatives to create new meeting and participation spaces, especially in the Old Town and at the Community Center.
