The municipality of El Pla de Santa Maria has finalized its program for the Summer Festival, which will take place between August 14th and 17th. Prior to the official commencement, several events have been organized to build anticipation.
The first of these pre-festival events will be held on Sunday, August 9th. During the day, a padel tournament will take place. At ten in the evening, the plaça de la Vila will host a popular dinner. Later, at eleven in the evening, there will be an open rehearsal by the Escatllots and a popular watermelon feast, all in the same square.
The schedule continues on Thursday, August 13th, with the tennis final at seven in the evening. At eight in the evening, the Diada Escatllot will take place, a popular walk starting from plaça Vella and ending at the hermitage of Sant Ramon, where the Escatllots del Pla will perform a 'pilar' (a human tower).
The Summer Festival will officially begin on Friday, August 14th, and will extend until Monday, August 17th.
