The initiative, developed in Valls, Alcover, Montblanc, and Santes Creus, aims to facilitate employment and development for vulnerable young individuals.
From August 10th to 16th, students from the Escola Terapèutica Can Ros d’Amalgama7 undertook an intensive stay at the Royal Monastery of Santes Creus. The activities included music therapy and cultural production workshops titled Mil i una Històries (A Thousand and One Stories), alongside pre-employment practical sessions supporting the festival's logistics.
This experience, which fostered interaction with the festival's musicians, enhanced key skills such as responsibility, punctuality, autonomy, leadership, teamwork, and social abilities, providing vocational guidance in cultural management.
The president of the Valls Chamber of Commerce, Josep M. Rovira, attended the closing ceremony on August 16th, alongside Maestro Jordi Savall, festival director general Martí Sancliment, and other institutional representatives including Francesc M. Salvador (Fundació Portal), Jordi Royo Isaac (Amalgama7), and Montserrat Magrane Delfin.
The participating young people presented a showcase of their work to families and the public. The Valls Chamber thus reaffirms its social commitment, using music and vocational training as tools to open future opportunities for the region's youth.
