Following a week of preliminary events such as a tasting, a tortilla contest, and a talk on traditions, La Masó is preparing to experience the most intense weekend of its Town Festival, dedicated to Santa Magdalena.
Saturday, July 17th, will begin at midday with a children's gymkhana at the swimming pool. In the evening, attendees can enjoy a popular dinner with 'coca de recapte' and sausage, followed by musical performances by Tarraco Surfers and DJ Jordi.
The following day, Sunday, the festivities will continue in the afternoon with a Scrabble championship at the Social Hall, followed by a parade with the Colla Pessigolla. The evening will be marked by two main events: the fraternity dinner and a dance featuring Loren.
The celebrations will proceed on Monday, July 19th, with the town festival mass at half past ten in the morning. Later, in the Plaça del Cafè, the traditional popular vermouth will be held, one of the most popular events.
In the afternoon, younger attendees can participate in a gymkhana in Carrer de l’Envelat. The Plaça del Cafè will host performances, including a lyric concert by Cover H and the magic show Glow, by Mag Albert.
The town festival will conclude on Monday, July 20th. Throughout the day, the swimming pool will host the 'Mulla't per l’Esclerosi Múltiple' (Move for Multiple Sclerosis) event, featuring inflatables. In the afternoon, there will be a solidarity snack benefiting the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (FEM) and a circus show by Dokum.
The final closing will take place at 10 PM with a highly anticipated fireworks display.
