The ABS Alt Camp Oest celebrated a commemorative event today, June 13th, open to the entire community to mark its quarter-century of operation. The gathering took place at the Església Vella in Alcover.
The celebration began at 9:30 AM with family activities, including a performance by the giants from the Colla Gegantera d’Alcover, drawing sessions, and a storytelling event based on the book 'Una porta mig oberta' by Rosa Sanromà Barberà, who led the session. A healthy breakfast was also provided.
Concurrently, at the Cercle d’Amics, participatory workshops were held. These included a practical basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) session and a 'Rosco' quiz on nutrition and FisioApic concepts, educational activities focused on health, nutrition, and physiotherapy.
From midday, a performance of Dames i Vells, a special version dedicated to the ABS, was presented, followed by the awarding of literary contest prizes and institutional addresses.
The day concluded with a musical aperitif at the Església Vella, providing a relaxed setting for community members to connect and celebrate these twenty-five years of service to the Alt Camp Oest region.
