The plenary session of the Valls City Council has approved 46 applications to subsidize 95% of the tax on construction, installations, and works (ICIO) for renovation projects.

The measure, approved unanimously, aims to incentivize the recovery of the building stock located in the city's Historic Center. These interventions include interior and exterior renovations as well as the adaptation of commercial premises, thus contributing to the urban revitalization of the area.
All requests have received approval from municipal technical services, confirming they meet the requirements set out in the current fiscal ordinance. Furthermore, the works have been declared of special municipal interest, which has allowed the files to be grouped together to simplify administrative management and reduce the burden of paperwork.
