The awards ceremony, organized by the magazine Caliu de Vila-rodona, took place on the afternoon of May 6 in the assembly hall of the Casal de Vila-rodona. This edition highlighted the participation of primary school students, who submitted short children's stories.
The literary evening began with the storytelling show El drac a qui li encantava llegir (The Dragon Who Loved to Read), a production by Pampallugues Teatre that captivated the audience. Afterwards, the awards, consisting of school supplies and books, were presented to the young winners.
The awardees came from various towns in Alt Camp, including Bràfim, el Pont d'Armentera, Figuerola del Camp, and Vila-rodona itself. The event was attended by members of the Caliu magazine and the mayor of Vila-rodona, who were responsible for presenting the recognitions.
To conclude the day, a snack was offered to the participating children, with coca and chocolate, bringing an end to a celebration that is already a cultural benchmark in the region.
