The towns of Vila-rodona and Alió have formalized the creation of new confraternities dedicated to the Virgin of Montserrat, with ceremonies held on June 16th.

The towns of Vila-rodona and Alió, located in the Alt Camp region, have had their own confraternities honoring the Virgin of Montserrat since June 16th. The official constitution ceremony took place last Tuesday, with events held in the morning in Vila-rodona and in the afternoon in Alió.
Father Joan Maria Miquel, delegate of the Abbot of the monastery of Montserrat, was present at both events. His role was to attest to the establishment of the two confraternities and their integration into the general confraternity of the Virgin of Montserrat.

"The main role of the people who are part of it is to bring the message of the Virgin of Montserrat to the people, as well as participating in pilgrimages and events organized in her name."
