The false ceiling replacement works at the Sala de l'Ateneu, also known as Sala Tramuntana, began this September and are progressing well. These works, awarded to the company MG Integral, SLU, will be financed by the Diputació de Girona through a grant for financially sustainable investments for the 2026 annual period.
Starting in October, the Sala Tramuntana will host various activities. The Cau de Borrassà (Scouts group) will meet on Wednesdays from 5 PM to 7 PM. Pilates sessions will be held on Mondays from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM, and yoga sessions on Tuesdays from 3:15 PM to 4:30 PM, with both courses starting on October 6th. Additionally, on Thursdays from 7 PM to 8:15 PM, sessions directed by musician Ramon Soto will take place. Physical activity sessions are also scheduled for Mondays from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, starting October 5th.
In case of rain, the fruit and vegetable stall planned for Thursday, September 17th, will be located in the Sala Tramuntana, maintaining its usual hours. The Major Festival of Creixell, celebrated on Saturday, September 12th, included a walk with Xano to learn about local plants.
The celebration of the Diada (National Day) on September 11th took place in the gardens of the Espai Cal Governador, organized by the relevant Association, featuring a popular lunch and a traditional habaneras singing performance. The 33rd edition of the Festa i Fira de l'Allioli (Garlic Festival) in Creixell was held on the second weekend of September.
The pilgrimage to Salut de Terrades will take place on Sunday, October 4th, starting from the plaça Major at 7 AM. The feral cat colonies in the municipality are managed by authorized volunteers who are responsible for providing them with food.
On Sunday, September 6th, the premises were closed due to family reasons of the owners. The 2026/2027 academic year will also include walks and physical activity sessions in the municipality's natural and urban surroundings, led by professionals.
