The City Council of Castelló d'Empúries has unveiled its new Training Agenda for the September to December 2026 period, which includes the inauguration of the Gastronomy Classroom and new training initiatives.

The program offers diverse activities for various ages and interests, covering areas such as health, culture, new technologies, gastronomy, and employment. The aim is to facilitate lifelong learning opportunities.
One of the main novelties is the creation of the Gastronomy Classroom, located at the Residència Toribi Duran. This new space aims to be a center for culinary training and dissemination, offering practical workshops on everyday cooking, seasonal gastronomy, and culinary techniques, with an intergenerational approach.
Among the initial activities at the Gastronomy Classroom are workshops such as "Cooking with Cold Techniques" and "Christmas Appetizers," led by Quim Serra, and "Young Cooks! Seasonal Recipes," aimed at children and young people, conducted by Tomàs Brull.
The new agenda also incorporates new activities such as a talk on "Artificial Intelligence, a New World" on October 22nd at the Capella del Convent de Santa Clara, a makeup workshop on November 7th, and a board games session on November 21st.
Established activities continue, including memory workshops, maintenance gymnastics, Qi Gong, line dancing, music therapy, guitar classes, Zumba, aerial silks, and various arts and crafts proposals. The Municipal Music School Antoni Agramont, the Ecomuseu Farinera, and the Ramon Bordas i Estragués Library also participate with their respective offerings.
Registration will open on September 16th and can be completed online via the Electronic Office or in person by appointment at the OMAC offices. Residents registered in the municipality will have priority for activities with limited places.
