Two incidents on the AP-7: minor injuries in Maçanet and burnt-out vehicle in Capmany

The AP-7 highway was the scene of two notable incidents on Friday and Saturday in the Girona region, requiring the mobilization of numerous Fire Department units.

A car and a van collided on Saturday morning at kilometer 84 of the AP-7, near Maçanet de la Selva, heading towards Girona. The accident, the causes of which are under investigation, involved seven people, two of whom sustained minor injuries and were transported by the Emergency Medical Service (SEM).
Seven units from the Bomberos de la Generalitat (Fire Department of Catalonia) worked to resolve this road incident.
The previous night, Friday, five fire units had already responded to a vehicle fire in the municipality of Capmany. The car was completely destroyed by flames, which also affected the right shoulder of the highway and an adjacent small path. No injuries were reported in this fire.
