The Alt Empordà stands out for its affordable gastronomic offerings, with numerous restaurants combining quality and good value, according to a Tripadvisor ranking consulted on May 10, 2026.

The Alt Empordà region is establishing itself as a destination where one can enjoy good cuisine without significant expense. Towns such as Colera, Roses, Sant Pere Pescador, Empuriabrava, Llançà, Cadaqués, la Jonquera, Maçanet de Cabrenys, and l'Escala feature a diverse selection of establishments offering excellent value for money, friendly service, and cuisine suited for all tastes.

This list, consulted on May 10, 2026, highlights an accessible gastronomic route with highly-rated options both in the coastal area and inland.
Among the most prominent, La Boigdega in Colera leads the list with a rating of 4.9 out of 5 and 147 reviews, offering French and Mediterranean cuisine. In Roses, a municipality with a strong presence in the ranking, we find Ca la Valeria Restaurant (4.4 points, 774 reviews) with an Italian and international proposal, and Lalola Restaurante (4.4 points, 587 reviews) specializing in Mediterranean and European cuisine.
