Protected housing construction in Figueres.

Construction work on 51 affordable rental protected housing units in Figueres' Parc de les Aigües has commenced, marking the first development of its kind in the city since 2010.

Site preparation work for the 51 affordable rental protected housing units in Figueres' Parc de les Aigües has now entered its active phase. Following the perimeter closure of the land in July, the awarded company, Arcadi Pla, is carrying out earthmoving and foundation work for the two buildings that will be located on Sant Climent Sescebes street, near Costa Brava avenue.
This initiative represents the first protected housing development to be undertaken in Figueres in sixteen years, addressing a significant need for affordable housing in the city.
On-site, the involvement of local companies from Alt Empordà is evident. Signs from Excavacions i Obres Rodà, specializing in earthmoving, and New Tec Molins, from Pont de Molins, an expert in concrete structures, highlight the participation of the region's business community in this project.
