The Vilamalla-based company Giropes has secured two new international projects in Africa, with a combined value exceeding 3.5 million euros, solidifying its global expansion.

These contracts, to be developed in Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Algeria, focus on improving transport and industrial infrastructures. The primary goal is to optimize heavy vehicle traffic management and enhance operational efficiency in critical environments.
One of the projects will be located at a strategic border crossing between Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The intervention aims to improve truck traffic control, reduce overloads, and streamline the flow of passage at a vital infrastructure for regional trade.
The second project will be carried out at a refinery in Hassi Messaoud, Algeria. Here, Giropes will automate and organize truck traffic within the industrial complex, significantly improving access control and operational efficiency.
Both projects share the objective of providing solutions that enable more efficient management of key infrastructures, increasing safety, traceability, and operational capacity in the locations where they are implemented. With these awards, the company from Alt Empordà strengthens its position in the international market and in high-demand projects.
