The Born to Read program, driven by the Catalan Libraries Service, aims to foster a love for books from the earliest months of life and strengthen the emotional bond between children and adults through shared reading. This initiative seeks to introduce books to early childhood, providing families with resources, guidance, and spaces to discover stories, songs, rhymes, and lap games that support infants' emotional, cognitive, and linguistic development.
Furthermore, Born to Read encourages collaboration between libraries and health professionals, such as pediatricians, midwives, and pediatric nurses. The goal is to support families during the early years of their children's lives and integrate reading as a daily habit from a very young age.
The Ramon Bordas i Estragués Library has scheduled three free sessions for families with babies and young children, requiring prior registration. These activities are designed to explore the value of reading aloud and share literary experiences.

The sessions include:
- Songs and stories on the skin – September 25th at 5:00 PM, led by Gemma Carreras, for families and babies aged 0 to 12 months.
- In the square they dance – October 2nd at 5:00 PM, led by Musinfant, for families up to 6 years old.
- Music and lyrics from the cradle – November 6th at 5:00 PM, led by Laura Nogueras, for families and babies aged 0 to 3 years.
