Two men have been sent to provisional prison after being arrested in La Jonquera with over 86 kilograms of synthetic drugs, mainly amphetamines and methamphetamines.

The court of guardia of Figueres has ordered provisional imprisonment for two men, aged 26 and 43, who were arrested on August 4th in La Jonquera. The suspects were traveling in a vehicle that was intercepted by the Civil Guard.
During the vehicle search, officers discovered six bags containing a crystalline substance weighing approximately 30 kilograms, three more kilograms of a powder substance, and 30 bags with 53 kilograms of pills. In total, 153,646 doses of synthetic drugs were accounted for.
Initial tests confirmed the presence of amphetamines and methamphetamines. This seizure, according to the Civil Guard, represents a significant blow against the synthetic drug trade, preventing a large quantity from reaching the illicit market.
