A boat trip through the fishing port of Roses will allow visitors to discover sea bream and sea bass fish farms, explaining their operation and breeding process.

On September 4th, a boat will depart from the fishing port of Roses at 10 AM for a guided tour of the local fish farms. During the two-hour journey, participants will get a close look at the facilities dedicated to breeding sea bream and sea bass located in front of the port.
The main objective of this activity is to promote aquaculture among citizens. The operation of the facilities, the feeding and breeding methods for the species, and the characteristics of the final product will be detailed. Explanations will be provided by Pere Planas, a biologist from the Confraria de Pescadors de Roses.
The excursion is open to the public at a cost of €5. Registrations will open on September 4th at 10 AM and will be available until September 18th, or until all places are filled, via the website rosesgastronomia.cat.
