The Club Esportiu Europa faces an intense weekend with the historic debut of the women's team in the Copa de la Reina Round of 16 against Athletic Club, and the demanding visit of the men's team to Murcia.

The team led by coach Nany faces Athletic Club this Friday at 7:00 PM at Nou Sardenya. This marks the first time the club has reached this stage of the competition, a fact the coach described as a “historic week for the club,” despite the recent league defeat against Betis (3-1).

"It is a historic week for the club. We hope the fans respond and that we are up to the challenge of the Cup."

Nany · CE Europa Women's Coach
Nany warned that Athletic is a “benchmark in women's football” and that the key to success will be to “make the match long” and avoid conceding early, as they are a “vertical” opponent who can overwhelm the defense if not pressed correctly.
On the other hand, the first men's team, led by Aday, visits the Enrique Roca stadium in Murcia on Sunday at 8:30 PM. The team arrives in good spirits after securing victories against Antequera in the league and Peralada in the Copa Catalunya.

"I don't want excuses; I don't prepare matches to draw. I want to win."

Aday · CE Europa Men's Coach
Aday emphasized the importance of defensive solidity, considering keeping a clean sheet “paramount” to securing at least a point. Despite potential absences of Caravaca, Vacas, and Guillem, the coach stressed the high demands for improving performance away from home.
