The works, which include the renovation of the pavement with cobblestones and concrete, as well as the repair of service networks, will focus on Major, Marinada, de la Plaça, de l’església, Caramany, Petit, and dels Valls Nous streets.
The contract was initially tendered for €160,391.50 (VAT included) and has finally been awarded to the company EXCAVACIONS J. PERAFERRER for €147,880.96.
To finance this project, the council has a subsidy of €100,000 from the Generalitat de Catalunya's Single Plan for Works and Services.
The works must commence, in any case, before the end of the year.
