Business associations in the Alt Penedès industrial parks are consolidating as key spaces for fostering cooperation and generating business opportunities amid digital transformation and sustainability efforts.

In an environment marked by digital transformation, sustainability, and the pursuit of new collaboration avenues, industrial park associations are gaining prominence. These entities are becoming crucial for representing business interests, identifying shared needs, and promoting joint initiatives that add value to the territory.
Currently, several areas within the region already benefit from these support and associative reinforcement structures. These include CEP Sant Sadurní in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, XEG La Gelidenca in Gelida, Avicugat Industrial covering Avinyonet del Penedès and Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues, and the Associació Connectem SMMonjos in Santa Margarida i els Monjos.
The primary objective is to move towards a model of associationism that transcends mere representation, becoming a practical tool for creating shared services, identifying opportunities, and launching collective initiatives among businesses.
Areas of focus being explored encompass sustainable mobility and logistics, shared waste management, the circular economy, industrial symbiosis, energy efficiency, aggregated service purchasing, talent acquisition, and business digitalization.
This work also strengthens dialogue with public administrations, facilitates access to information on grants and funding opportunities, disseminates training activities, and fosters new relationship spaces among regional businesses.
The consolidation of these business networks contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of industrial parks and building a more connected, resilient business ecosystem prepared for future challenges, where cooperation generates joint solutions.
