A security operation focused on transport trucks on the AP-7 highway, near Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, has resulted in one arrest, one person investigated, and fifteen fines.
The Mossos d'Esquadra conducted the inspection this Saturday morning, reviewing a total of 35 heavy vehicles on one of Catalonia's main road arteries, with the aim of reducing road accidents.
The final outcome of the operation included 15 fines for non-compliance with driving and rest time regulations. Additionally, one fine was issued for a missing MOT (Ministry of Transport) inspection. One driver is under investigation for tampering with the tachograph, and another individual was arrested for document forgery.
