The initiative began on July 24th with an event that brought together more than 350 people at the Hotel Boutique Font de la Canya. The gathering, which combined gastronomy and live music, served to raise funds for research into care for people with advanced illnesses.
The project, which has the collaboration of Cal Blay, aims to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. The proceeds will be used to fund research grants, strengthen the training of healthcare professionals, and promote social awareness campaigns.

This citizen mobilization will continue over the coming months with various cultural and informative activities. The program will culminate in February 2027 with the XIV Congress of the Catalan-Balearic Society of Palliative Care, which will take place at the Eduard Toldrà Auditorium in Vilanova i la Geltrú.
The ultimate goal is to normalize the dialogue about end-of-life care in public spaces, educational centers, and organizations. Citizens can consult the calendar of events and make contributions through the official website enabled for the initiative.
