Torrelavit Avança has officially presented Lluïsa Puigcerver as its candidate for mayor of Torrelavit, as part of the Candidatura de Progrés coalition.

The presentation event, held at the Casal Popular de Torrelavit, gathered nearly a hundred people and served to introduce the main lines of the political project and the team that will accompany the candidate. The candidacy is integrated into the Candidatura de Progrés (CP), a coalition that defends municipalist, socialist, and progressive values throughout Catalonia and the Penedès region.
Puigcerver emphasized the importance of building a project firmly rooted in the municipality, open to citizen participation, and capable of integrating diverse perspectives. She highlighted the composition of her team as "unique and varied," formed by individuals with different profiles and experiences, aiming to offer a broad view of the challenges and opportunities facing Torrelavit.
As a measure to foster citizen involvement, the candidate announced the creation of a suggestion box to collect proposals, concerns, and contributions from residents. This initiative seeks to strengthen active listening and the collective construction of the municipal project. Among Torrelavit Avança's priorities, Puigcerver mentioned "promoting responsible tourism, supporting local wineries, and boosting job opportunities."
The candidate defended Torrelavit's potential for growth while preserving its identity, leveraging local resources, and generating new employment opportunities. "We know that change doesn't happen overnight, but if you never start, you'll never achieve it. Let's move Torrelavit forward," she stated, emphasizing the need for consistency and commitment.
The event was attended by Imma Ferret, a deputy in the Parliament of Catalonia, who spoke on behalf of the Federació Socialista Alt Penedès-Garraf to express support for the project led by Puigcerver.
