The event, organized by the Municipal Library and the Institut d'Estudis Penedesencs, will feature the authors, Ramon Arnabat Mata and Carlos Moruno Moyano, as well as some of the protagonists from Sant Sadurní d'Anoia at the time. The presentation will take place at 7:00 PM.
The book addresses the development of the labor movement in the Alt Penedès during the seventies and eighties of the 20th century, focusing on the trajectory of the Unió Sindical Obrera (USO) and Central Autònoma Sindical (CAS) unions between 1976 and 1990. The work is based on located documentation and interviews with labor militants.
The book aims to document the history and memory of that young working generation, highlighting the significant role of women in the fight to achieve current labor, social, and political rights.
