The Local Police has closed river and stream crossings to prevent risky situations, due to the high volume of water in the upper reaches of the Foix river and its flow through the municipality. The overflow has also affected some connection points in the industrial estate of the station.
According to data from the municipal meteorological station, 112.8 liters of rain were recorded between 8 and 10 this morning, across three rainfall episodes.
The local police have informed that truck access for the cement company will be via the entrance to the station road.
The city council urges the public to exercise maximum caution and to respect all closures and installed signage. It is particularly reminded not to cross rivers, streams, torrents, or flooded areas, either on foot or by vehicle.
It is also recommended to avoid unnecessary travel near watercourses and to follow the instructions of emergency services and official information channels.
