Coach Iván Moreno is set to redebut on the FC Vilafranca bench this Saturday at the Santfeliuenc ground, three years after his previous tenure at the club.

The coach from Tarragona returns to the “quadribarrat” team after his departure in October 2022, when his last match was a 0-1 defeat against FE Grama. This return occurs during a period of instability, as the club has cycled through five coaches since his exit.
Since Moreno's departure, the bench has been occupied by Cristian García, who was replaced by the duo of Ramon Maria Calderé and Jaume Milà, who ultimately confirmed the relegation to the Lliga Elit. The 23/24 season started with Santi Triguero, followed by David Viajoana.
David Viajoana was the most stable coach, lasting a season and a half and narrowly missing the promotion play-offs. The most recent coach, Parxi Atsarà, leaves after directing only 13 matches, mirroring the feeling left by Triguero.
During his time away from FC Vilafranca, Iván Moreno was part of the technical structure of Nàstic de Tarragona in the Primera Federación. He served as assistant to Dani Vidal, achieving significant success, such as reaching the promotion play-offs to Segunda División in the 23/24 season, before resigning on matchday 36 of the 24/25 campaign.
