The adaptation and paving works for the healthy path around the Rentador de Calaf begin this Thursday, October 15th. This action is part of the urbanization project for sector SUD-3 and aims to improve the conditions of the existing route, encourage its use by citizens, and integrate it into the agricultural and natural environment.
The works have a budget of 122,505.14 euros (before taxes) and an estimated execution period of five months. The focus will be on consolidating and adapting the existing path, improving the pavement with a granular base and a finish suited to the rural environment.
The project also includes landscape integration actions, such as planting trees to create shaded areas, conserving existing agricultural uses, and incorporating drought-resistant vegetation. Informative and interpretive signage will be installed to facilitate understanding of the route.
Due to the works, general traffic on the path will be restricted starting Thursday, October 15th. Access will be exclusively limited to residents and tenants of adjacent properties for the planned five-month execution period.
The Calaf City Council requests understanding for any inconvenience caused and advises respecting the provisional signage and access restrictions.
