The forest fire that began on Monday between Carme and la Pobla de Claramunt was stabilized this Tuesday, allowing the lockdown to be lifted in most municipalities in the area.

The extinguishing efforts were supported by nearly thirty members of the Barcelona Fire Department, who deployed to the region with eight vehicles, including water units, a ladder truck, and two ambulances. The crews worked throughout the night to contain the flames.
Despite the general stabilization, Civil Protection maintains a preventive lockdown in the les Garrigues residential area, located in la Pobla de Claramunt. Regarding medical assistance, the SEM reported that six people were treated, one with less serious injuries and five with minor ones.
Meanwhile, emergency teams continue to work on another active fire in Sentmenat, which has not yet been declared stabilized, although the right flank of the perimeter has been brought under control.
