The series will kick off on Friday, August 28, with the Concert of the Encambra’t Professors at the Cementiri Nou (New Cemetery). The repertoire will include Beethoven's Eroica.
The following day, Saturday, August 29, the program will move to the Escola Conservatori Municipal de Música d’Igualada (ECMMI) for simultaneous concerts.
The closing event for this series of open performances will be on Sunday, August 30, at the Sala de les Encavellades of the Museu de la Pell (Leather Museum), featuring the Students' Camerata. They will perform Haydn's Symphony No. 94, “Surprise”.
The Encambra’t Festival, now in its seventh edition, is an initiative by the Quartet Altimira and is supported by the Igualada City Council and the Department of Youth.
