The incident occurred around ten o'clock at night, when the emergency number 112 received an alert about an accident at kilometer 6.2 of the road. For reasons yet unknown, the vehicle overturned and came to a stop on the carriageway, with none of its occupants trapped inside.
A unit from the Bombers de la Generalitat (Generalitat Firefighters) was dispatched to the scene to remove the car and clean the road, thereby restoring normal traffic flow. The Emergency Medical System (SEM) attended to those involved.
The driver, a 20-year-old young man, was the only one requiring medical attention and was transferred to the Hospital d'Igualada in a minor condition.
