These efforts, focused on creating low-combustibility perimeter strips and clearing municipal interior plots, primarily aim to strengthen forest fire prevention and increase resident safety.
The work was carried out by the company AGROFIT FORESTAL, S.L., under the technical and safety supervision of ENTREARBRES, S.L.P.U., with the involvement of forestry engineers Cristina Montserrat Rodríguez and Antonio Cobo Carmona.
The total investment for these forestry works amounted to €25,537.66 (VAT included) for the contracting company. Additionally, the management and safety coordination services incurred a cost of €3,624.80 (VAT included).
On October 6, 2026, the final works certificate was issued, confirming completion according to technical requirements. The acceptance report was formalized the same day, validating that the actions met applicable technical and administrative specifications.
Through this initiative, the council reaffirms its commitment to sustainable forest management and reducing fire risk, thereby enhancing the protection of the municipality's residential areas.
