The municipal team expressed satisfaction with the response from residents to this initiative, designed to promote animal welfare, prevent diseases, and encourage responsible pet ownership.
During the campaign, veterinary services offered health check-ups, deworming, and vaccinations against various diseases. Identification via microchip was also verified, with implantation offered to animals that lacked one, and health records issued as needed.
Capitalizing on the initiative's success, the Council reminded residents of the importance of keeping dogs properly identified with microchips and registered in the municipal census. This identification is crucial for locating lost pets and facilitating their return home, as well as contributing to better management and coexistence within the municipality.
Responsible ownership, according to the local government, involves ensuring the animals' health, keeping vaccinations and identification up-to-date, and complying with established legal obligations.
The Pujalt City Council extended thanks to all citizens whose participation and involvement made the campaign a success, assuring continued efforts to promote animal welfare and responsible coexistence in the municipality.
