The celebration began at midday with a mass officiated by Father Camilo. The Veciana Choir accompanied the liturgical act and concluded the ceremony by singing the 'goigs' in honor of Sant Gabriel.
Subsequently, the mayor of Veciana, Jordi Servitje, thanked the attendees for their presence, highlighting the tradition of ancestors who used to process up to the chapel to honor the town's patron saint.
To conclude the festival, the Copons 'bastoners' (stick dancers) offered a performance of music, dance, and color in the chapel's courtyard, which was enthusiastically applauded by the gathered public.
During the morning, attendees could visit the chapel, which was completely restored in 2019 by the Veciana Town Council after fifty years in ruins.
