The Conselh Generau d’Aran has completed work in 2026 to improve and maintain three essential roads in Val d'Aran, with a total investment of 281,022.50 euros. The projects aim to ensure the good condition of the routes, enhance safety, and facilitate access to populated areas.

The interventions focused on the access road to Es Bòrdes, covering a 516.26-meter stretch serving the town and surrounding scattered buildings. Work was also carried out on the access road to Vielha per la Ribèra, a 451.18-meter section considered a strategic route for alternative and emergency access to the Aran capital and for reaching water supply facilities. Finally, the access road to Arròs from the Varradòs road was improved over a 410-meter section, addressing pavement damage caused by wear and weather conditions.
The Conseller d’Infraestructures of the Conselh Generau d’Aran, José Luis Boya, highlighted the importance of these actions: "The maintenance of our road network is fundamental to ensuring safety and mobility in our territory. With these works, we improve access conditions to the villages and strengthen the functionality of these routes, both for the daily lives of residents and for potential emergency situations."
This investment is part of the road improvement and maintenance program for Val d’Aran, promoted by the Conselh Generau d’Aran with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya, through the Departament de Territori, Habitatge i Transició Ecològica.
