The Val d'Aran is launching a system to regulate access and mobility to its main natural spaces between June 10 and September 30, with real-time information on parking availability.

The Conselh Generau d’Aran, through Torisme Val d’Aran, has activated the access and mobility regulation system for the territory's main natural spaces for the 2025 summer period. The aim is to preserve the natural environment, improve safety, manage mobility, and prevent saturation in the most sensitive areas.
The planned regulation calendar includes different dates for Ribèra de Varradòs (June 10 to September 2), Artiga de Lin (June 10 to September 2), Ribèra d’Aiguamòg and Valarties (June 10 to September 6), Bassa d’Oles (June 24 to September 2), and Bassa d’Arres (June 24 to September 2).
To ensure the system functions correctly, 21 people have been hired for information points, parking areas, tourist offices, and access regulation points. Six information screens have also been installed at the main access points, along with sensors for vehicle control. Information on the availability of regulated parking will be available in real-time via the screens, the Guidaran app, and the portal aparcaran.conselharan.org.

"With the regulation of access, we aim to consolidate a tourism management model that balances visitor arrivals with the protection of the natural environment. The landscape and heritage richness of the Val d'Aran requires measures that ensure its long-term conservation and, at the same time, contribute to improving mobility, safety, and the visitor experience."

Josep Canut · Conselhèr de Turisme

"The regulation of access is included within the sustainable territory management policy promoted by the Conselh Generau d’Aran. This measure will allow for more effective organization of circulation on the tracks leading to natural spaces, favoring environmental preservation and better coexistence between tourist activity and the natural values of the Val d'Aran."

The Conselh Generau d’Aran reminds visitors of the importance of respecting signage, the instructions of the information staff, and the access rules to balance visits to natural areas with their conservation, and to contribute to a more orderly and sustainable mobility model.
