On May 20th, the Territorial Services of the Department of Education and Vocational Training of Alt Pirineu i Aran, led by its director, held an event to honor the teachers and administrative and service staff (PAS) who are concluding their professional careers this academic year.

The event took place at the Hug Roger III Institute in Sort and featured a lecture titled “Fem Memòria Històrica” (Let's Make Historical Memory), delivered by the renowned teacher, pedagogue, and writer Lola Abelló. During the ceremony, students from the Consorci Escola Itinerant de Música i Dansa dels Pallars provided musical entertainment with two performances.

As a token of appreciation for their dedication, the retirees were presented with commemorative gifts: a group photograph, a poem, and a piece of local craftsmanship created by Sara Parcerisas.

To conclude the celebration, students from the Hotel and Catering School at the same Pyrenean institute prepared an appetizer featuring local products for all attendees.
