The aid is intended for social and cultural revitalization, digitization of museum collections, and improved accessibility.

The grant program, managed by the Department of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition, is specifically aimed at museums and heritage facilities registered with the Network of Museums and Heritage Facilities of Alt Pirineu and Aran. According to the Minister of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition, Sílvia Paneque, the aim is to support initiatives that promote and revitalize the Pyrenean cultural heritage, viewing them as "not only economic drivers but also for the identity of these regions."
Paneque highlighted that the grants will also serve to "accompany facilities in the necessary digitization of their collections, to make them more accessible to everyone." Eligible actions include improvements in social and cultural revitalization, communicative and audiovisual accessibility, digitization of museum collections, and enhancement of facility management.
The maximum amount that can be requested per project is 3,500 euros. Grants will be awarded based on the order of points obtained, covering the total requested amount. Applications can be submitted until November 23rd for activities carried out between January 1st and November 22nd, 2026.
