The new waste collection model implemented in Callús is showing positive results in selective collection. Data gathered between June and August indicates a significant improvement, achieving 75% selective collection.
During this three-month period, 152.29 tons of separated waste were collected. These figures represent a notable advancement compared to the 34.3% recorded in 2025, bringing the municipality closer to a more efficient and sustainable waste management system.
The Callús City Council thanks the daily commitment of citizens in correctly separating waste, emphasizing that this practice is a shared responsibility with a direct impact on the municipality's future. The presented data does not include waste managed through recycling centers.
