Tomorrow, work will begin on renewing the trees in the flowerbed of Plaça Major, as part of a set of actions that the City Council is promoting to improve the municipality's various green spaces.
This intervention follows up on gardening activities already carried out in other parts of the municipality, such as on Riu street and in the planters of Cardona street, where renovation and replanting tasks have been performed.
Through these actions, the City Council aims to achieve greater harmony and coherence across the green areas, adopting a common gardening line and a similar selection of plants in different spaces to consolidate a more uniform and well-maintained image.
The work is made possible by a subsidy requested from the Provincial Council (Diputació), which has allowed progress in the improvement and renewal of the landscaped areas.
