The Castellbell i el Vilar City Council is working on the installation of a new multi-sport court in the La Vall de Montserrat urbanization. The council has received a grant for sports facilities from the Diputació de Barcelona (Barcelona Provincial Council) worth 40,000 euros, which has enabled the acquisition of this new multi-sport play area.
The new facility will feature a steel structure measuring 20 meters in length and 10 meters in width, and will include goalposts and basketball hoops. It is designed to be resistant to impacts and humidity.
The City Council emphasizes the importance of investing in the La Vall de Montserrat urbanization to address the historical deficit of facilities and services in this area. Recently, the current Governing team also adapted and equipped the new social center in the urbanization with an investment of 14,000 euros.
