A landslide on the tracks interrupted the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) train service between Manresa Baixador and Monistrol de Montserrat starting this Sunday morning.

The Catalan administration's rail company announced the service interruption due to the incident affecting the line connecting the capital of Bages with Barcelona.
This emergency situation has compelled Protecció Civil (Civil Protection) to activate the Ferrocat plan to manage the incident and coordinate the necessary actions in the affected area.
Trains on the affected line continue to operate normally on the section linking the Monistrol de Montserrat station with Plaça Espanya in Barcelona.
According to the entities involved, as of Sunday midday, there is no specific forecast regarding when the full railway circulation will be restored between the two locations.
