Junts candidate Ramon Bacardit claims Manresa "has hit rock bottom"

The municipal leader of Junts per Catalunya in Manresa has been ratified by the party leadership to head the list in the 2027 elections.

Ramon Bacardit, current head of the Junts per Catalunya municipal group, was officially chosen as the candidate for mayor of Manresa for the 2027 elections during an event held this Thursday.

The election event confirming Ramon Bacardit as the Junts per Catalunya candidate for mayor of Manresa in 2027 highlighted the organic support of the party. Key figures attended, including the Secretary General, Jordi Turull; the Secretary of Municipal Policy, Joan Ramon Casals; the president of the Vegueria Central, Rosa Vestit, and the president of Junts in Bages, Eulàlia Sardà.

In his acceptance speech, Bacardit warned that if order and common sense are not established, the capital of Bages could definitively enter “a point of no return.” He stressed that “the train passes in 2027.”
The municipal leader requested “the maximum complicity and help” from the national leadership of Junts to achieve the mayoralty. He also made a direct appeal to the Manresa membership to assume a high level of commitment and dedication on the electoral path.
Ramon Bacardit concluded his intervention by announcing the start of the “common sense revolution” in Manresa, aiming to recover the city's direction and build a solid and ambitious governing alternative.
