This new covered sports facility, with a budget of 669,399.77 euros, will be located on a municipal plot of 3,784.34 m² next to the Vilafortuny Civic Center. The aim is to respond to the increased demand from sports clubs, educational centers, and organizations needing spaces for year-round sports, educational, and social activities.
The plot, urbanistically designated for sports facilities, is situated between Castell de Siurana, Castell de Tona, Camí del Mas Clariana streets, and Castell de Vilafortuny avenue. The area already has the necessary urban services, including potable water, sanitation, electricity supply, and telecommunications, and offers good accessibility.
The new facilities will have a total area of 1,210 m², with 1,139 m² for the main pavilion and 71 m² for an annexed warehouse. The indoor sports court will have a height of 9.70 meters and will be equipped for various game types, including basketball and futsal courts, as well as impact protection systems.
The sports hall's structure will be made of prefabricated concrete with a sheet metal roof, a system known for its durability, quick execution, and low maintenance. The project also includes foundations, enclosures, interior and exterior flooring, access landscaping, electrical, sanitation, ventilation, plumbing, and fire protection installations, as well as connections to general service networks and signage.
