Data from the Barometer of Profitability of Spanish Tourist Destinations, compiled by EXCELTUR from INE statistics, places Cambrils in a prominent position. During 2025, the town achieved an average revenue of 115.90 euros per available hotel room (RevPAR), a 13.6% increase compared to the previous year.
This result positions Cambrils ahead of major tourist destinations such as Sitges (110.40 euros), Vila-seca/La Pineda (102 euros), Benidorm (84 euros), Salou (80.30 euros), and Lloret de Mar (71.50 euros). Cambrils' revenue per available room exceeds Salou's by 44.3% and Sitges' by 5%.
The Mayor of Cambrils, Oliver Klein, has positively assessed the results, highlighting that they confirm a quality, diversified, and sustainable tourism model that generates economic activity and employment. The Councilor for Tourism, Patricia de Miguel, emphasized that the results are the product of joint efforts by the sector and a commitment to a differentiated offering.
The positive trend continues into 2026. Between January and April, Cambrils recorded a RevPAR of 80 euros, a 51.2% increase compared to the same period in 2025, also surpassing Sitges, Salou, and Lloret de Mar.
The municipal government is promoting policies to encourage de-seasonality and diversification of the offering, focusing on sports, gastronomy, culture, and family tourism, aiming for balanced growth that respects the territory.
