A sailor from Cambrils crowned Spain's U17 sailing champion

A young sailor from Club Nàutic Cambrils has claimed the Spanish U17 title in the ILCA 6 modality, in a competition that brought together nearly a hundred participants in Melilla.

The athlete from Club Nàutic Cambrils was proclaimed the Spanish women's U17 champion in ILCA 6 at the national event held in the waters of Melilla. Her performance was outstanding in a competition that featured nearly a hundred sailors.
Participants, hailing from nine autonomous communities, competed in a total of eleven races to determine the national champions. The representative from Cambrils accumulated 220 points, surpassing the second-place finisher, who scored 229 points, and the third, with 240 points.
In addition to the U17 title, the sailor from the Cambrils club also secured a bronze medal in the U19 category, demonstrating her versatility and talent across different age groups. The Nàutic Cambrils team also included other promising young talents.
