The Ateneu Juvenil in Cambrils hosts from today, October 14th, the inauguration of the exhibition "Declare War on Hunger", organized by the Manos Unidas Delegation of Tarragona and Cambrils Cultura.

The exhibition, which can be visited until October 30th, invites reflection on the complex relationship between hunger, poverty, inequality, violence, and peace. Through 12 roll-ups, the exhibition explains the work of Manos Unidas and focuses on how hunger and poverty are not only consequences of conflicts but can also fuel and perpetuate them.
The campaign asserts that combating poverty and hunger is a way to build peace. The exhibition presents examples of cooperation projects and initiatives that the entity develops in countries of the Global South, addressing areas such as education, health, human rights, equality, and sustainable development.
This awareness exhibition aims to go beyond numbers, promoting the idea that peace is built by guaranteeing a dignified life, rights, and opportunities for everyone.
The inauguration event will take place today, Wednesday, October 14th, at 7:00 PM at the Ateneu Juvenil. Admission is free.
