The cycle will begin on October 1st with an inaugural lecture on the Mediterranean diet, marking the launch of the new university chair promoted by the Universitat Rovira Virgili and the Cambrils City Council.
The autumn program covers disciplines such as archaeology, contemporary history, sustainability, and nutrition. These proposals will be held in various cultural facilities in the municipality, with the collaboration of local entities and integrated into consolidated events such as the Biennal d'Art Contemporani Gastronòmic, the Cicle de Memòria de Tardor, and the Setmana de la Ciència.
Highlights include lectures on historical memory and deportation to Nazi camps, talks on biodiversity and nutrition, as well as an immersive virtual reality experience at the Vil·la Romana de La Llosa scheduled for November.
