The Reus-based club confirmed the arrival of the coach from the Ebro region, who will begin this new professional chapter alongside his main collaborator, Nando Crespo. The club is also working to retain part of the previous technical structure, aiming to ensure continuity in the sporting project.
Albacar arrives in Reus with prior coaching experience. He has managed Athletic Club Torrellano and was part of the technical staff for Valencia CF and FC Nouadhibou in Mauritania.
As a player, Edu Albacar had an extensive career as a left-back. He played for teams such as La Sènia, CD Tortosa, RCD Espanyol B, Deportivo Alavés, and Rayo Vallecano. However, his most notable period was at Elche CF, where he became captain and a key figure for the club.
