The city of Reus has kicked off the fourth edition of the Contemporaneus festival, an event combining music, cinema, and debates until this Saturday.

The event began with a collective sound action at plaça Prim, based on the minimalist piece In C. This proposal allows performers to make decisions about the evolution of the score, emphasizing the creative process and the resulting sound textures.
The program has moved to Cal Massó, the venue hosting the main performances. Highlights include the concert by Morphosis Ensemble, the premiere of the work Aventures de ressonància, and a percussion-focused show by Synergein Project.
The festival maintains an open schedule of activities until the weekend, including conferences and round tables with directors of other contemporary music festivals in Catalunya. The closing will feature a screening of the classic film Metròpolis, fused with live contemporary music.
